Practical information
During the Australian summer, daytime temperatures on the Wave Rock site exceed 40 degrees Celsius. In addition, the rocks heat up and give off heat. As a result, the perceived temperature is much higher than the real one. Therefore, it is worth protecting yourself from the sun, taking water, a hat and possibly an umbrella with you.
Additionally, there are fires in the area, so it is a good idea to check the fire risk in the area before going to Wave Rock.
