Australia's largest city.
New Years Eve in Sydney
New Years Eve in Sydney was our dream and we were not disappointed. There was a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful fireworks display. We had a view of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge.
In Sydney, from 2019, all places from which you can admire the firework show are payable, but prices are adapted to the places and scope of the offer. Non-alcoholic and non-alcoholic zones are much cheaper than the rest. However, you can also watch fireworks during elegant dinners on ships, at the Opera or in the Botanical Gardens. We were looking for a suitable place for us on the website: https://sydneyexpert.com/new-years-eve-in-sydney-2019/
We recommend this website because the information was really reliable and it is easy to make the right choice.
Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House is a magical place. It was with pleasure that on New Year's Day we went to this iconic place for a New Year's concert. You can go out during the interaction with a glass of champagne on the terrace with a romantic setting overlooking the river. And after the concert, you can sit in a restaurant next to the Opera House and enjoy a feast with a view of the beautifully lit Sydney and the Harbor Bridge.
Bondi Beach
The biggest and the most famous beach in Sydney. According to National Geographic was ranked 8th among the most beautiful city beaches in the world. Somehow it did not captivate us: the crowd of people, uninteresting vegetation, the swimming pool not inviting, because there is a lot of sand around it and in it. But for people who like buzz, loud music and a pub overlooking the pool and the beach, this place will be very fascinating :-).
Camping
Our campsite was about 60 km from Sydney. But it was the coolest we've ever been to in Australia. Excellent infrastructure, right next to the ocean beach, very well-kept.
