TRAVEL INSPIRATIONS

Cathedral Cove
Cathedral Cove is a unique beach on the Coromandel Peninsula. It owes its uniqueness above all the rocky clearance separating the beach into two parts and spectacular views.
Beach
Cathedral Cove is a beautiful beach, surrounded by very showy rocks, beautiful cliffs and wonderful colored water.
In my opinion, the most beautiful place in New Zealand. The beach is tiny, separated by a "rocky eye".
One of the favorite places of photographers.
Road to Cathedral Cove
You can reach Cathedral Cove by foot, boat or canoe. We chose a walk and we don't regret it. The route is approx. 2.5 km long. One way is approx. 45 minutes. There are places, like in New Zealand, slightly uphill, but the views compensate for a bit of effort. The road is paved and mostly unshaded, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun. At the end of the route, right next to the beach, there are some steps to climb.
